Safeguarding Your Information

• We are very aware of the heightened interest in online shopping security and take great care in protecting your privacy and your payment information.

• Any potential for identity theft is almost non-existent, as we would never ask for your social security number or date of birth.

• We do not store your payment details with your customer profile. This means that even if someone were to obtain your UserID and password, they would still not have access to your credit card information. (Unlike websites that store your card number for future purchases, we do not. You enter your card details each time you make a new purchase.)

Sterling Sisters Privacy Policy

Sterling Sisters obtains information from our customers so that we can fill your orders. This information includes your name, billing address, company name (optional), phone number, and email address. If you are having your order shipped to a different location, we obtain that name and address.

We also obtain your payment information, including the credit/debit card type, the name on the card, the card number, the card expiration date, and the card billing/statement address. The card information is collected in forms protected by 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. You can verify this by observing the lock symbol depicted as "locked" on your browser during the credit card payment step of the checkout process. Our secure certificate is issued by GeoTrust. You can double-click on your browser's lock symbol to view additional details.

We only use this information as necessary to fill your order and obtain payment from you. We give your (or your recipient's) name, address, and phone number to the shipping/delivery service that will deliver the package (such as UPS, FedEx, or the U. S. Postal Service). We provide the payment information you give us to our merchant services credit card processor so that we can be paid for your order. We may also use your contact information if we need to consult with you about your order details.

If you have chosen to be on our mailing list we may email you a brief, informative newsletter from time-to-time.

This information may be stored on our web host for a reasonable length of time, but is only accessible by double-password via 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL). It may also be stored in our office where it is accessible only to those few persons who need the information for order processing and order fulfillment.

We never have, do not now, and never will, give, barter, sell, exchange, or otherwise reveal any of this information, including your email address, to anyone or any entity not described above (except, of course, pursuant to a court order or other proper legal process, which has never happened and we hope never will!).

We loathe spam and spammers. You can rest assured that if you ever receive spam, it won't be because of us. And that's a promise!
